Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cairalabs ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use Fund Explorer (the "Service"). We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we never sell your personal data.
1. Information we collect
- •Account data: your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile info from Google) used to authenticate you.
- •Usage data: the search preferences you submit (risk, goal, horizon, amount, index preference), how many searches you've used, and your credit balance.
- •Payment data: processed by our payment processor. We receive a transaction reference and the pack purchased, but never receive or store your full card details.
- •Technical data: basic logs, device/browser information and cookies necessary to operate the Service securely.
2. How we use your information
- •To provide the Service, including generating recommendations and tracking your credit usage.
- •To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- •To process payments and deliver purchased credits.
- •To respond to your support requests and improve the Service.
- •To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), with your consent (where required), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
4. Service providers
We share data with trusted third parties only as needed to run the Service:
- •Supabase: authentication and database hosting for your account and credit records.
- •Dodo Payments: payment processing. Their handling of payment data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- •Hosting & infrastructure providers: to serve and operate the application.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar local-storage technologies that are necessary for authentication and to remember your guest search usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect how the Service works.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see your rights below).
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- •Access the personal data we hold about you.
- •Request correction of inaccurate data.
- •Request deletion of your data and account.
- •Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Please review this page periodically.
